TMJ perjelas punca tendang tiang penjuru selepas perlawanan antara JDT dan Terengganu di Larkin malam tadi.
Selepas tamat perlawanan, kami diperkenan untuk menemuramah DYAM Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Mahkota Johor.
JST: Mohon ampun, Tunku. Kami telah menerima pelbagai maklumbalas daripada para penyokong berkenaan kejadian yang berlaku di bendera penjuru sebentar tadi. Adakah Tunku ingin berkongsi apa-apa berkenaan perkara tersebut?
DYAM TMJ: Sebelum perlawanan bermula, adik saya bertanya bagaimana saya akan meraikan sekiranya kita menang pada malam ini. Saya menjawab, saya tidak tahu, mungkin saya akan buat seperti Ibrahimovic dan menendang bendera penjuru. Itulah yang saya lakukan, dan nampaknya saya mendapat lebih perhatian daripada beliau! (ketawa)
JST: Ampun Tunku, kelihatan juga Tunku mengangkat tangan dan memandang ke atas. Apakah yang Tunku maksudkan dengan perbuatan tersebut?
DYAM TMJ: Saya memandang ke atas sebagai tanda Allah Maha Besar, dan akhirnya, Allah tetap bersama mereka yang benar.
JST: Ampun Tunku, kelihatan juga Tunku mengangkat tangan dan memandang ke atas. Apakah yang Tunku maksudkan dengan perbuatan tersebut?
DYAM TMJ: Saya memandang ke atas sebagai tanda Allah Maha Besar, dan akhirnya, Allah tetap bersama mereka yang benar.
JST: Tunku gembira dengan kemenangan ini?
DYAM TMJ: Tentu sekali, terutamanya setelah segala perkara negatif yang berlaku dalam seminggu setengah yang lepas. Tetapi kelakar bila difikirkan, sesetengah orang yang rendah pemikirannya lebih sibuk hal saya menendang bendera penjuru berbanding dengan kemenangan kita. (ketawa)

Kita bangkit mengatasi segala perkara negatif, dan walaupun ada yang cuba menjatuhkan semangat kita, tetapi kita lebih dirahmati untuk dirisaukan dengan tanggapan orang lain. Apabila kita masih berdiri walaupun musuh cuba menjatuhkan, menunjukkan kekuatan kita yang sebenar.
Kebencian daripada segelintir yang bermentaliti tak bertamadun tidak menggoyahkan semangat kita mengejar impian.

Untuk mencapai impian, apa yang terbaik untuk dilakukan adalah dengan menjaga urusan kita sendiri. Tak perlu merungut, dan tak perlu menjelaskan apa-apa.
Pernah suatu ketika, seorang wartawan bertanya saya - Bagaimana Tunku berjaya membawa pulang Piala Liga Super ke Johor walaupun baru hanya dua tahun memegang jawatan presiden? Jawapan saya, semasa orang lain sibuk bertanggapan negatif terhadap satu sama lain, saya lebih sibuk berusaha gigih mencapai matlamat, dan tidak menjaga tepi kain orang.

TMJ - Before the game, my brother asked me on how am I going to celebrate if we win the game tonight. I said that I don't know, but I might do what Ibrahimovic did by kicking the corner flag. Well, I did just that and looks like I'm getting more attention than he did! (laughs)
JST - Ampun Tunku, you always kept on pointing upwards. What did you mean by that, Tunku?
TMJ - I pointed up to say that Allah is great, and at the end of the day, Allah will always be with the righteous.
JST - Are you delighted with the win?
TMJ - Of course I am, after all the negativity in this past one and a half weeks, but it is funny how some low mentality individuals are more concerned about me kicking the corner flag than our victory. (LAUGHS)
The art of being wise is knowing what to Ignore. Success is to be measured not so much by the position of one have reached in life, but by overcoming the obstacles in which he has to overcome.
Nothing can stop a man with the right mental attitude to reach his goals and nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.
Hatred by few uncivilized mentality, but we are standing up to pursue our dreams.
In order to achieve your dream, the best thing is to always mind your own business. Never complain and never explain.
One time there was a journalist who asked me this question - How do you do it in winning the league within 2 years in charge as the President? My answer was, while others are busy being negative towards each other and judging each other, I'm more focus on working hard to achieve our goals, instead of worrying too much about others.
In fact our name must really taste good since it's always in someones's mouth.
